Hangmen from Swansea opened the evening with laid-back surf-instrumental-rock’n’roll. Next up, Antillectual. I would have loved to hear a longer set, but unfortunately [insert Frank Sinatra song]. So far, I’ve been to five concerts of the Dutch trio with their bass player rotation system… Nozzle played pop-punk at its best: catchy riffs, singing in two voices, fast drums. Last band: Static Radio NJ. Based on the reaction of the crowd, I’ve come to the conclusion that I was probably the only one in the room who didn’t know them beforehand…

I shot two videos and will upload them in next couple of days: Antillectual – “Kraken Gaat Door!” and Static Radio NJ – “Last Year”.

By the way, I went shoe shopping yesterday.

Les photos.
